Honkai: Nexus Anima

Honkai: Nexus Anima is a game developed by HoYoverse (miHoYo), the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, which offers an experience much closer to that of the Pokémon saga. The lighthearted action of the previous two games has been replaced by a much more relaxed experience, in which your main aim is to collect a bunch of creatures from the Genshin and Honkai universes.

Catch 'em all

One of your main missions in Honkai: Nexus Anima is trying to catch all the creatures in the game. Of course, Genshin Impact was somewhat similar in this respect, since you could store creatures inside the Serenitea Pot. Similarly, during the Aetherium Wars event in Honkai Star Rail, players could capture different Aether Spirits, which they could then train, upgrade, and level up. So, actually, this aspect of the game isn't completely foreign to HoYoverse.

The gacha system

All HoYoverse games feature a gacha system which is usually quite successful. And in Honkai: Nexus Anima, it's no different. The ultimate goal of the game is to catch all the creatures, which can be done over the normal course of the game, although many of them require you to use the gacha system. Although not yet confirmed, it seems that there will be more than 100 different creatures, each with its own evolutions. At the beginning of the game, you will only have a handful of them, but little by little, you will be able to unlock so many more.
