Honkai: Nexus Anima

Honkai: Nexus Anima is a game developed by HoYoverse (miHoYo), the authors of Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, which proposes an experience much closer to that of the Pokémon saga titles. Gone is the lighthearted action of the previous two games, in favor of a much more relaxed experience, in which the main mechanic is to collect a bunch of creatures from the Genshin and Honkai universes.

Catch 'em all

One of the main mechanics of Honkai: Nexus Anima is to capture all the creatures in the game. It should be remembered that in Genshin Impact there was already a similar mechanic, which will allow you to store creatures inside the Serenitea Pot. Similarly, during the Aetherium Wars event at Honkai Star Rail, players could capture different Aether Spirits, which they could then train, upgrade and level up. So, in reality, it's not a completely unknown mechanic for HoYoverse, far from it.

Gacha and collection system

All HoYoverse games feature a gacha system which is usually quite successful. And this is not going to change with Honkai: Nexus Anima. The ultimate goal of the game is to capture all the creatures and, although this can be done during the normal course of the game, for many of them it will be necessary to use the gacha system. Although not yet confirmed, it seems that there will be more than a hundred different creatures, with their respective evolutions. At the beginning of the game you will only have a handful of them, but little by little you will be able to unlock many more.
